Northern California Grantmakers (NCG) - a dynamic, growing membership organization that brings the philanthropic community together to shift resources, capital, and power back to historically marginalized communities leading transformative change - is hiring two Directors! 

NCG IS HIRING

Northern California has a rich cultural legacy and commitment to social justice. NCG’s membership is made up of stakeholders across philanthropy including: program officers, board members, donor trustees, movement organizers, communicators, visionaries, advocates, dreamers, and believers. They started as the “Lunch Bunch” in the 1960s, a group of philanthropic leaders committed to growing together. They formalized themselves in the 1980s with the goal of supporting a base of philanthropic members. Currently they have more than 220 institutional members and over 4,000 individual members. For the past forty years, they have been working to gather, mobilize, and transform philanthropy. They believe in our collective power for good. Learn more about NCG at www.ncg.org.


NCG seeks:

  • An equity-centered, relationship-oriented leader as Director for Member Engagement to oversee membership engagement, emergent partnerships, and key programming that strengthens our strategic focus on addressing inequities and increases our ability to transform philanthropic practices.
  • An equity-centered, systems change-oriented leader as Director for Policy and Movement to increase philanthropic investments and build power in communities most impacted by racial inequities.
